Soccer donations continue to come in weekly and we have distributed gear to Costa Rica and Guatemala programs already.
We will now take gear from any sport as we have found uses for the gear with our youth group recipients - any gear is welcome.
Thank you for your support!
Give your old soccer gear and
help a kid play soccer!!
MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Round up that soccer gear!
Do you have slightly worn or outgrown soccer gear cluttering your closets, cars, and garage?
Would you like to recycle this gear so it can be re-used by those who need it?
Would you like to get gear for free or at a minimal cost?
Would your club like to help cut the cost
of youth soccer for families?
If YES, then see if our Soccer Gear Recycling Program meets your needs.

WHAT WE'RE DOING: Collecting and re-distributing usable soccer gear within our communities - balls, cleats, jerseys, socks, shorts, nets, cones, gloves, referee gear, equipment, anything SOCCER! Many kids outgrow their cleats and soccer gear before they are worn out and this program will allow others to benefit from what you can no longer use...and you may find what you need for next year too! This program is starting in August 2012 with Distribution Days planned for Summer 2013.
WHO IS RUNNING THIS: Volunteers within local clubs with a program coordinator to ensure continuity. This is a not-for-profit group (though not yet formally a 501(c)3) and volunteers are soccer people who see value in giving back in this way. Any funds raised will go to advertising the collection and distribution program and will be formally accounted for. Anyone abusing the program will no longer be allowed to participate. This is a DO GOOD project and we expect everyone to honor that goal.
WHERE THIS IS RUNNING: Currently, clubs in Visalia and Fresno, CA are participating but we hope that many more clubs will join. Clubs throughout California are welcome to participate though supervision may have to be set up locally if out of the Central California area. Collection bins will be located at practice & game fields and, hopefully, at various locations throughout our communities. Round Up coordinators will be contacting schools and clubs throughout the Central Valley for participation.
See the last page (click on "more" in the header line) to see who is participating now. This page will be updated as teams, schools, and clubs join the program.
HOW DO I DONATE, GET GEAR, OR START THIS AT MY CLUB OR SCHOOL: See the Distribution Day page on this website then send a request or question via the CONTACT US page (hover over "more" in the header line). WANT TO HELP?

Giving back makes a difference!
This is a volunteer-based activity and we can use all the help that parents, kids, and businesses can offer to collect gear, distribute posters, hand out info cards, and set up/run Distribution Day. Use the Contact form to let us know you are interested in helping. This is a great environmental activity, can provide community service hours to a high school student, and could be a great way for scout groups and kids to give back.
